Reset Your Server
-
Backup, Backup, Backup. eNet is not responsible for the data on your
server. If a hard drive crashes, we will install a new
drive and reinstall your operating system. Restoring your
data and programs is the responsibility of the administrator (YOU!)
When
you use the reset server option, it actually does the same thing as pressing
the reset button on the server. You only want to use this
as a last resort.
-
Try
to do work on your server during normal business hours.
If you crash your system after hours and it does not come up after
a reset, an eNet administrator will have to come in and fix your
computer. It may take some time before an administrator
can get to your server.
Operating
systems other than Windows 2000 Server, Windows 2003 Server, Redhat Linux 9, FreeBSD, and Debian are not supported
by our staff. If you use an alternative operating system,
we may not be able to help you fix the problem.
